IL Hunger Coalition

The Illinois Hunger Coalition (IHC) is a statewide organization dedicated to ending hunger by addressing its root causes through economic and racial justice. IHC organizes grassroots efforts to expand poverty-reduction programs, increase federal and state resources for low-income communities and empower individuals to become community leaders. I designed this invitation and Save the Date postcard for IHC’s annual Paul Simon Public Service Award Dinner. These pieces were created in Illustrator and InDesign, using their brand colors and typeface, incorporating gradient textures and an image of a child to convey a sense of urgency and hope.
